Change, is our approach to ending the cycle of generational incarceration through

behavioural and personal development programmes for young people who are at risk of offending or becoming part of a gang. Studies indicate, that children of incarcerated parents have an 85% chance of going to prison themselves.

Change draws upon on a range of creative learning techniques such as art and drama therapy, storytelling and sports. The programme focuses on self-reflection activities with guidance to redirect negative energy, increase self-awareness, improved behaviour and build on personal wellbeing to increase confidence.

Through Change, we aim to support young people to develop better relationships with themselves and with those around them. Throughout the programme, we focus on increasing emotional literacy and emotional resilience, increasing young people’s consequential thinking and empathy for others.

Together, we can end the cycle of generational incarceration.
